to prepare for the first year of trick-or-treating we have been practicing a lot! I hide in the bathroom so they

can knock on the door and say trick or treat! and they get snacks or toys :)

Make A Pumpkin @ Kids Club

We had so much fun at our first Kids Club party,

it was a decorate your pumpkin party with sticker kits to make your pumpkin into

a monster. It was super easy and fun, even for 2 year olds! Emma treated her pumpkin like a baby for the rest

of the day. She hugged and kissed it before leaving it anywhere and insisted it wear a seat belt!

You've been BOO'D!

we had a lot more fun Boo-ing people this year! and we know a few more neighborhood kids so that helped too. the boo game I learned from another family, in milwaukee, you make treat bags (cookies,stickers, small toys) and deliver them secretly with a sign that says you've been boo'd, then they are supposed to keep the cycle going.

(making halloween sugar cookies, Seth had a blast using cookie cutters and patting it out all by himself. Emma enjoyed smelling the flour-she didn't understand the difference yet ;) )

Great Northern Mall just put in a brand new soft play area for the little kids. Its really nice, the kids have a blast everytime we go!

this is what little miss emma came down wearing one morning last week. mommy said she had insisted on picking out her own clothes for the day. she got many compliments wherever we went that day. :)

pumpkin painting

we actually ended up painting our pumpkins twice. the first time we used washable paints andwhen it dried, it was barely visible. they didn't seem to mind painting them again!
