GIANT BERRIES!

On a cool, crisp summery day, we visited the strawberry patch. And much to our surprise, the strawberries were HUMONGOUS! (as the kids kept saying). We filled our box to the top in no time, now its jam making party time!

Around the World- Letter D

we are two weeks into our 'Around the World' journey, so far we have visited China and this week we visited Paris, France. Our friends Marie & Lia came over to help us make crepes and read books in french.

Colors & Shapes Week

While learning about many different colors & shapes this week, we decided to try a special project. Oranges and some fabulous orange juice (toy-ish) pitchers and viola! Orange juice was made! And it was actually very tasty.

A is for ANIMALS

A is for ANIMALS

These past two weeks our them has been animals. We have talked about where animals come from (see photo of 'animal homes'), visited animals in the pet store and the zoo, and we have done many art projects about animals.

Emma's favorite animal is an elephant. Elephants are from Asia or Africa and they eat plants.
Seth's favorite animal is a lion. Lions eat a large variety of wild animals based on their availability.

We LOVE it when Grammie comes to visit! Thanks for a fun date with friends, ice cream and pushing us on the swings. We LOVE you grammie!
